Enjoy lively polka bands and other traditional performers on multiple stages in Addison Circle Park and take part in a variety of special games designed for beer lovers, kids of all ages, dachshunds and more.

If you love beer, sausages, hearty Bavarian pretzels, pastries, dancing and upbeat polka music, McKinney’s annual Oktoberfest is a must-attend event. Enjoy authentic German food, domestic and imported beers, exciting games like the popular Weenie Dog Races, a dedicated kids’ area and a carnival full of festive spirit. Admission to the event is free, but tickets for various activities are available through Eventbrite.

Get ready for Glen Echo Brewing’s first ever Oktoberfest in downtown Wylie. Enjoy keg openings, live music, mug-holding contests, jewelry, yodeling, sausages, pretzels, dachshund races, and of course, lots of beer. Event details will be available on Facebook soon.
