Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class achieved another commitment in the cycle as four-star wide receiver Mike Brown chose the Aggies on Monday afternoon with the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverine. Head coach Mike Elko and wide receiver coach Hormon Wiggins will boost the offense by adding top 50 wide receivers to the team.
Elko and his staff continue to have top talent by adding a third receiver to the Aggies’ 2026 cycle, and after talking to ON3, Brown was impressed by the staff and follows after his father, Reggie Brown, became Aggie.
“His coaching staff was a top professional-level coach (hormonal) Wiggins, a co-offensive coordinator/wide receiver coach, shared his real knowledge. It was exciting to hear. You can hear his passion.”
Some may disagree, but despite finishing 1-4 after starting 7-1 and 5-0 in SEC play last season, the future of football for Texas A&M is far better. Future improvements begin with employing elite talent. Wide receivers are a spots that are looking to build depth and become more dynamic for the future.
According to the ON3 composite rankings, Brown is currently ranked as the 284th potential customer in the cycle, the 46th wide receiver and the 35th potential customer in Texas.
