24 Houston area teachers out of 60 new names under investigation in accreditation fraud scandal

Houston – KPRC 2 has obtained a new list from Texas Educational Institutions. This includes the names of 60 new Texas educators currently being investigated in a certification fraud scheme for teachers that allow unqualified teachers to work in local school districts.

Kim Ogg, then-Harris County District Attorney, first broke the news in October after announcing the indictment of five people accused of participating in the fraud scheme.
