Texas commit and On3 industry-ranked five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench will join defensive tackle four-star commit Myron Charles in Gainesville this weekend.

You might be asking yourself, “Wait, didn’t the Longhorns beat the Gators by a score of 49-17 in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated?” Yes, they did, but it doesn’t matter for several reasons.
First, both French and Charles are from Florida. French is located in Jacksonville, just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Gainesville, and Charles is in Port Charlotte, 3 hours and 15 minutes away.
Second, it is the era of NIL. In the words of Hector Barbosa, “codes are more like ‘guidelines’ than actual ‘rules’.” Piracy and the NIL era are quite similar.
You might also be asking yourself, “Is third-year head coach Billy Napier on the hot seat?” Yes and no. He has until next year, according to a statement from Florida AD Scott Stricklin.
This is probably not a coincidence with Florida State having a big visit this weekend for their next game against LSU.
Florida State’s current recruiting class ranks 33rd in the nation, but has only 12 commitments. Whether that’s good or bad depends on how the Gators end up.
As for the Longhorns, despite the visit as an official, our sources don’t think much of French, who committed to Texas after going through a thorough process following his retirement from Alabama following the retirement of Nick Saban. It is said that

Charles is a little different. He had committed to the Seminoles in late June, but Texas deported him from Florida State in September. Officials know he is a prospect they have to acquire through whistleblowing. However, there is no need to worry at this time.
