The Sun Devils will wear their white and gold uniforms in Thursday’s game in San Marcos, Texas.
The white jersey features a maroon team number with gold trim. The number is also sewn onto the shoulder of the sleeve. The Arizona state flag is printed in light grey down each side of the uniform, with a sunburst shining down just below the upper arm.
The jersey is paired with gold pants, which feature a large rake on the right thigh and the Adidas logo on the upper left hip.
As for the matching gold helmet, the Sparky decal that was so boldly featured last week is noticeably missing from the gear.
Instead, the side of the helmet features a maroon pitchfork printed next to a maroon stripe that runs from the front to the back of the headgear.
The Bobcats (2-0) could be the Sun Devils’ (2-0) toughest opponent so far this season.
The Texas State team will wear a more subdued outfit for Thursday’s game. The Bobcats’ jerseys will be black with the school name and player numbers embroidered in dark red with gold trim.

The team’s helmets also feature the Bobcats’ signature gold, which is a darker, more metallic color than the Sun Devils’ traditional yellowish-gold shade, with a black stripe and two burgundy stripes running from the front to the back of the helmet.
Arizona football fans may recognize the Texas State helmet, which resembles the Wildcats’ alternate headgear debuting this year.
Both helmets have three stripes in their team colors printed front to back, while Arizona State and Texas State each have “Cats,” a shortened version of their team mascots, printed in cursive on both the left and right sides of their gear.
