The Army Black Knights will head to DATCU Stadium in Denton, Texas to take on the North Texas Mean Green looking to maintain their undefeated record.
Army (8-0, 6-0 in the AAC) is having a historic season. They have already made a name for themselves in their first year as members of the American Athletic Conference, ranking 25th in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. They are in the driver’s seat with a chance to not only win their conference, but become a “Group 5” team in the newly established 12-team College Football Playoff.
They defeated the Air Force Falcons 20-3 last weekend and are looking to make another leap forward.
North Texas (5-3, 2-2) earned an upset win over the Black Knights on Saturday and will fight for a chance to earn its first bowl-eligible season since 2022. The team is in its second season under head coach Eric Morris, who is looking to help the program move forward after joining the conference last season.
The team is also trying to bounce back from its second consecutive loss after losing 45-37 to the Tulane Green Wave last week.

Army 38, North Texas 10
After missing last week’s game with an undisclosed injury, Bryson Daley returned healthy this week and should lead Army to a victory over the Mean Green.
Army 21, North Texas 13
That streak will continue this Saturday in Denton. All season long, the Black Knights have yet to lose a game this season. I doubt that will change this week. Coach Morris is doing a great job of helping the Mean Green turn around the program, but they will have to wait another week to win a bowl game. Daley continues to impress as one of the nation’s leading rushers among quarterbacks, and if he suits up on Saturday, having Daley back under center will be a big boost. But even if he doesn’t go, the Black Knights will get the job done.
Kickoff for the Black Knights vs. North Texas game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and will be available to watch on ESPN2
