It turns out that a British woman studying to become a nurse in the United States was stabbed to death as her roommate was charged with murder.
Elizabeth Tamiloa Odunsi was found on April 26th with multiple stab wounds just days before her graduation in an apartment in Houston, Texas.
The 23-year-old from London attended a women’s university in Texas and wanted to specialize in as a newborn nurse.
After concerns were raised, police were called to the complex to perform welfare checks and noticed blood outside the apartment.

She went by the name of Tamidol in Tiktok and had over 45,000 followers.

Odunsi was found on a kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds and was sadly declared dead at the scene.
The 40-year-old man, later identified as a roommate, was found in a bedroom with at least one stab wound and was taken to a nearby hospital in danger.
He was later identified as Chester Lamar Grant and was later charged with murder in connection with Odunsi’s death.
Investigators said Grant was arrested on May 2.
Local news reports say he stabbed Odunsi 28 times over a disagreement, including a cat.

“Unbelievable loss”
It was established by her family to pay her body and return it to the UK.
Gofundme said: “She moved from the UK to the US and pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, dedicated to her life of care and service. Tami dreamed of having a special love for her children and making a difference in her younger lives through her future work in healthcare.
The fundraiser added: “Tradically, Tami was brutally murdered a few days ago to graduate from university. An unimaginable loss at the moment that should have marked the beginning of a bright and promising future.”
So far, the fundraiser has raised over £64,000.
At the graduation ceremony she attended, her sister Georgina gathered her nursing pins on her behalf.
Police were called to 6510 Goforth Street in Houston at around 3:50pm on April 26th.

“I’m deeply saddened”
In a statement, the university said it was “deeply saddened” to learn about her death.
“At just 17 years old, Tami moved from London to Houston alone, bravely adapting to a new country, a new culture and a new academic system, just months before the pandemic began,” the spokesperson said.
“She has had a huge impact on our university community and her legacy continues to inspire us.”
The university provides counseling to students affected by Ms. Odunshi’s death.
