SportsDay Insiders Kevin Cherrington, Evan Grant and David Moore discuss the big stories in North Texas sports. We start off with (5:50) the Cowboys’ disastrous loss to New Orleans. The thing about this team, David says, is that when things go right, they just get bigger and bigger. Same goes for when they don’t. Still, Kevin expects the Cowboys to bounce back against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens based on how they defended Deshaun Watson and the Browns. (24:07) Evan lays out the Rangers’ potential starting rotation next spring based on strong performances from Kumar Locker and Jacob deGrom last week. (40:00) Texas is back in first place for the first time since 2008, but this time they have two capable quarterbacks in Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning. There’s no QB controversy, Kevin says. This is still Ewers’ team, if he’s healthy.
