Bellaire Police say a woman shot and killed a man during a domestic dispute at the Bellaire Police Station.
BELLAIRE, Texas — Bellaire police are searching for a woman accused of fatally shooting a man during a domestic violence incident early Friday morning.
Bellaire Police Chief Onesimo López said he received a call around 2:30 a.m. from several people informing them that they were being followed by one of his ex-girlfriends and were headed to the nearest police station to avoid a confrontation. He said he received it.
When they arrived at the police station, the woman got into an argument with the passengers in the truck and then fired multiple shots into the passenger side, Lopez said. Then she departed. A police officer fired back, but it is unclear whether he was hit.
The police chief said the passenger, the woman’s ex-boyfriend, was struck several times and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Lopez urged the woman to turn herself in. Police said they know the woman’s identity and are working to take her into custody once a warrant is approved.
