Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Office of Public Safety, offers cash rewards to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of Texas’ 10 most wanted criminals, sex offenders and criminal illegal immigrants. To date in 2024, DPS and other agencies have arrested 32 of Texas’ 10 most wanted criminals, sex offenders and criminal illegal immigrants, including 11 sex offenders, 10 gang members and four criminal illegal immigrants.
To receive the cash reward, tipsters must provide information to the agency using one of three methods:
Call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). Submit a Web Tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about and clicking the link under their photo. Submit a Facebook Tip by clicking the (Submit a Tip) link (under the (About) section).
All tips are anonymous regardless of how they are submitted, and tippers will be provided with a tip number instead of a name.
DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for inclusion on the Texas 10 Most Wanted, Sex Offenders and Criminal Illegal Immigrant lists. The most current lists, complete with photos, are available on the DPS website.
