The Philadelphia Eagles won’t look much different in 2025.
Philadelphia is clearly building a great roster and keeping as many players on the roster as possible this upcoming offseason would be the right move. This doesn’t mean there aren’t ways for the Eagles to improve.
One way to do so would be through the National Football League Draft. The regular season is nearing its end, and there is already a lot of speculation about the arrival of potential players. Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski researched potential candidates and created a list of the best and worst candidates for each candidate. He surprisingly named the Eagles as the worst candidate for Texas star cornerback Jahday Barron.
“It was a little surprising that even though Colorado’s Travis Hunter won the Heisman Trophy, Texas’ Jahday Barron won this year’s Thorpe Award as the nation’s best defensive back,” Sobleski said. he said. “To be fair, Hunter is a gifted cover corner, but he won the award for his contributions on both sides of the ball.
“Baron, on the other hand, is a versatile chess piece in another sense. The opportunity for the coaching staff to have individuals on the field who are not mismatched in certain areas allows them to do more from a play-calling standpoint. Baron has the potential to be an instant defender and has a chance to do more early in his career.Best fits: Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers. Police Colts, Baltimore Ravens.
Philadelphia currently has young corners in Kunyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, but adding more top-tier talent never hurts.
