The Texas A&M University Texarkanas School of Professional Education and Community Engagement (PECE) is proud to announce that Amber Adams is the fall 2024 recipient of the PECE Community Leadership Excellence Award. This award is given to individuals who have made a significant impact on their communities through service, innovation, and dedication.
Fall 2024 Community Leadership Excellence Award Winner
Amber Adams is a graduate of TAMUT’s Leadership Bachelor of Science program. She currently serves as the Texarkana Engagement Director for the East Texas Food Bank. Mr. As has demonstrated leadership by fostering partnerships and developing initiatives to combat food insecurity in East Texas. Her ability to find community-driven solutions reflects PECE’s mission to empower careers and improve communities.

The PECE Community Leadership Excellence Award is presented each semester to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and service.
