EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of the long-awaited Edinburg Arts, Culture and Events Center, better known as ACE, located at 315 W. McIntyre. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, and will mark a significant milestone in the city’s efforts to enrich the local cultural landscape.
The ACE Center is a 36,000 square foot venue with a $14 million investment, equally funded by the City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation. This ambitious initiative will be a transformative force for the arts and foster creativity and economic growth in the heart of Edinburg. Whether you’re a preschooler, a teenager, or a senior, the ACE Center is a hub of creative discovery, offering everyone a place to grow artistically.

Featuring state-of-the-art dance and art studios, a digital design lab, gallery space and more, the new ACE Center is designed to inspire creativity and collaboration while supporting local artists. Edinburg’s Department of Arts and Culture is pleased to announce a diverse lineup of educational programs, workshops, and classes at the ACE Center, which will be open six days a week starting in early 2025. Offerings also include music, drama, and dance classes. meetings, conferences, evening events featuring live performances such as music and poetry readings, and more. These year-round activities ensure continued access to the arts for the community.
