A 7-year-old boy was injured and taken to the hospital after a drone crashed and fell from the sky during a holiday show in Orlando. Sky Elements issued a statement expressing hope for the victim’s full recovery and emphasizing its commitment to safety and cooperation with the FAA and City of Orlando authorities to determine the cause of the accident.
Although the drone show has been canceled, the Lone Star New Year’s Eve celebration at Reunion Tower will still be held. Sean Miller, Reunion Tower’s vice president of operations, announced that the event will feature 15,000 pounds of fireworks, 5,000 firework effects, and be streamed on social media.
