The Texas-to-Florida line and vice versa are usually related to football, but David Peavy, one of the nation’s most famous boys basketball coaches in Duncanville (Texas), apparently appears to have moved to Sunshine State. Through Florida-based SI ace Andy Villamarzo’s high school, Peaby reports that he will accept a headboys basketball job at Southeastern Prep in Orlando. That’s according to Charles Campbell from hoopdfw.com. Peavy led the Panthers (27-7) to the State 6A-1 title earlier this month after a 54-52 win over Houston Beller. He led Duncanville to a 35-1 record and another state 6A title while making national headlines in 2021-22, but later suspending the following season to use ineligible players. Duncanville was also stripped of his state title. Since Peavy took over Duncanville in 2018, Panthers have now reached 200-32.
According to this report after recordings of Southwest Washington, the university relocation portal, new qualification rules for junior colleges, new qualification rules for sweet nil trading, and sweet nil trading have led to athletic scholarships at standouts at non-elite high schools. Participation has tripled over the past three years in Clark County, with Prairie High School sporting two varsities and one JV team. The university currently offers e-sports scholarships. The scholarship was digged into South Carolina’s Winthrop by Prairie’s senior team captain Cody Sigler. “I played a lot of video games, but I didn’t think it would help me get into college,” he told the newspaper. Does that mean we will be spending National Digital Signature Day?
Southern California’s Juggernaut Matter Day has been a perennial country juggernaut of grid irons for decades, and now the monarch believes he can throw away his helmet and play the same sports flag and ponytail. Si Socal Ace Tarek Fattal high school reports that Morton has said that the hiring of new coach Kevin Morton is due to local success, “I believe that what I believe will be a national premier girls flag football program.” Aim high and grab the flag!
