Austin (February 21, 2025) – Governor Greg Abbott today announces the Texas Music Office (TMO), with the fateful city co-hosting a Texas Community Workshop that is in-person and virtual music-friendly on February 24th .
“Music is key to the Texas brand and the local economy,” Gov. Abbott said. “We would like to thank the Texas Music Office for helping our community across the Great State develop creative partnerships and create new jobs. With the support from the Texas Music Office, the Texas Music Industry has been able to offer the Texas Music Industry. It accounts for 196,000 permanent direct and indirect jobs, generating more than $31.7 billion in economic activity annually across the state. TMO Community Relations and Outreach Specialist Gini Mascorro will take part in the workshop to be designated and certified as a music-friendly Texas community and explain the benefits of answering questions.
Participation in TMO’s music-friendly Texas program is the first in the country, introduced by TMO in 2016, providing the Texas community with a network to promote music industry development, and accredited communities have the opportunity to create a music industry. Send a clear message to industry experts that they are serious about attracting and developing. growth. Fate Workshop is the first step in the authentication process. Once certified, Fate joins more than 70 other Texas cities that have earned the designation of the Music-Friendly Texas Community.
