A community to ensure the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.”
“As a Sweetwater alumni, I’m proud that my hometown has achieved the designation of a film-friendly Texas community,” Sen. Charles Perry said. “This perception demonstrates the unique nature and economic potential of Sweetwater, opening new doors for job creation and local investment through film and media production.”
“We are excited that Sweetwater has been chosen as a film-friendly Texas community and that Governor Abbott is grateful for his support for local job creation in West Texas,” said President Stanlambert. “Sweetwater is a community that embodies the value that makes Texas, Texas. From its beautiful landscapes to the welcoming people, there can’t be any more representatives of Texan culture than Sweetwater.
