AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Sherman-related fugitive Geovanny Saul Carcamo to Texas’ list of 10 Most Wanted Criminals and Illegal Immigrants. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to his arrest, and all tips are guaranteed to remain anonymous.
Geovanny Saul Carcamo, 27, an illegal immigrant criminal from Guatemala, is wanted in Grayson County since December 3, 2024, on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Carcamo is believed to have been deported from the United States in 2022 for illegally entering the United States and then fled from the Sherman area to Houston.
Carcamo is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. More information about Carcamo and updates on his arrest can be found on the DPS website.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Texas Department of Public Safety, offers rewards to individuals who provide information leading to the arrest of one of Texas’ 10 most wanted fugitives, sex offenders, and criminal illegal immigrants. We offer In 2024, DPS and other agencies arrested 45 people on these lists, including 16 sex offenders, 10 gang members, and 4 illegal immigrant criminals, based on tips that led to their arrests. A reward of $32,000 was paid.
To be eligible for a cash reward, tipsters must provide information in one of the following ways: Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submit a web tip through the DPS website, or submit a Facebook tip by: Click the “Submit a Tip” link. All tips are anonymous and tipsters receive a tip number instead of using their name.
DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives to Texas’ 10 Most Wanted list. A current listing with photos is available on the DPS website. The public is advised not to attempt to apprehend these fugitives as they are considered armed and dangerous.
