The latest success story to emerge from this initiative is that of Juan Zambrano Jr. (known as “Guero” by his family and close friends), who is currently on his way to a legal career at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in Norman, Oklahoma.

In early August 2024, Zambrano shared a personal celebration on social media: “We are celebrating Guero’s farewell party at Law School in Norman, Oklahoma! On behalf of the Zambrano Law Firm and the Zambrano family, we wish many blessings to Guero as he enters Law School.” When asked by Texas Border Business who “Guero” was, Zambrano warmly responded: “Guero is my nephew, Juan R. Zambrano Jr., my brother’s son. He will be attending the University of Oklahoma School of Law in Norman, Oklahoma! We are proud of his accomplishments and are sure there will be many more success stories to come!”
Zambrano elaborated on his nephew’s journey, saying, “He’s 22 years old. Yes, he started at the University of Oklahoma School of Law this year.” There was an unmistakable sense of pride in his voice, reflecting not only his family’s joy, but also the success of the Legal Eagles Pipeline Program, which helps students pursue their dreams.

According to Zambrano, the program represents hope and determination for high school and college students who want to make their mark in the legal field. “None of this would be possible without my education, my amazing parents, and God’s blessings,” Zambrano said. “We will always be a family of service to others.”
