Texas A&M football is rolling on the field at 5-1 heading into the first bye week of the season. The Aggies currently have 22 spots and the future looks bright as they finished ninth in the nation in Mike Elko’s first full cycle in College Station. It was another very strong weekend for A&M commitments in 2025 and 2026, led by A&M’s two linebacker commitments.
Here’s a look at the Texas A&M football commit’s performance from last weekend.
Corona (Calif.) Centennial QB Huthan Longstreet: Corona (Calif.) Centennial (4-2) defeated Roosevelt 61-0 for its fourth straight win. Longstreet completed 7 of 8 passes for 126 yards and four touchdowns.

Jasper TE Chiotti Armstrong: Jasper (2-4) received a bye last weekend.
Season stats: 17-212-2 TD receiving, 3-9-1 TD rushing,
Bonita (Calif.) LB Noah Mikhail: Bonita (6-0) remained undefeated with a 27-14 win over Glendora. Mikhail had nine carries for 50 yards and three catches for 75 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Mikhail had 13 tackles and 5 tackles for loss.
Season stats: 22-117-1 TD rushing, 12-195-1 TD receiving, 64 tackles, 15 TFL, 1 sack, 4 PD.
Quartz Hill (Calif.) CB Adonis Curry: Quartz Hill (3-3) lost 7-0 to Lancaster. Curry had two receptions for 40 yards. He also had two tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
Season stats: 2-24 rushing, 19-359 receiving, 6 TD, 7 tackles, 2 PD, 1 fumble recovery.
San Ramon Valley wins over Marco Jones: San Ramon Valley defeated Granada 35-6. Jones recorded five tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack.
Season stats: 3-44-3 TD receptions, 51 tackles, 19 TFL, 5.5 sacks, 1 PD
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver WR Tristan Norman: Montgomery (Ala.) Carver lost to Enterprise 17-14. Norman’s reception was a 4-yard loss.
Season stats: 12 wins, 268 losses, 4 TD receptions.
South Sumter (Fla.) S Rashad Johnson: South Sumter (3-4) defeated Lake Mineola 42-21. Johnson had one reception for 30 yards, one score, two tackles, and one interception on defense.
Season stats: 3-21 rushing, 3-59-1 TD receiving, 39 tackles, 4 INT, 3 TFL, 1 forced fumble.
Belleville DL DJ Saunders: Belleville (2-3) received a bye last week.
Season stats: 28 tackles, 6 TFL, 4 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked punt.
Shadow Creek DB Coby Sellers: Shadow Creek (5-1) defeated Dobey 56-15. Sellers had one tackle contributing to the win.
Season stats: 6 tackles, 1 INT, 1 PD, 1 forced fumble.
Desert Edge CB Jamar Beal-Goins: Desert Edge (3-3) defeated Millennium 40-13. Beal-Goins had one reception for 3 yards and one pass breakup.

Hitchcock WR Kelshawn Johnson: Hitchcock received a bye last weekend and returned this week against Hallettsville.
Paetow DB Deijon Pettaway: Katie Paetow (4-1) defeated Morton Ranch 42-8. Separate statistics about Pettaway were not immediately available.
DeSoto RB Deondrae Leyden: DeSoto (4-1) received a bye last week.
Season stats: 81-641, 7 TD rushing, 2-4 receiving.
Bridgeland OL Jonte Newman: Bridgeland (4-1) defeated Cy Springs 18-6. The game was a bit of a defensive battle, with the Bears winning despite having the least scoring ability.
Denton Ryan OL Marcus Garcia: Denton Ryan (4-1) lost 42-27 to Aledo. Ryan had 340 yards of total offense, 257 yards passing, and 83 yards rushing.
Cy Fair DL Landon Link: Cy Fair (3-2) defeated Jersey Village 38-6. Separate statistics for Rink were not available.
Prosper OL Connor Carty: Prosper (4-1) outscored Prosper Rock Hill 49-7. Prosper had 608 yards of total offense, 447 yards passing, and 161 yards rushing.
Richmond Randle DL Chase Sims: Richmond Randle (5-0) was a bye last week.
Dickinson OT Tyler Thomas: Dickinson (4-2) defeated Clear Lake 57-35. Behind Thomas and the rest of the offensive line, Dickinson had 551 yards of total offense (461 rushing, 90 passing).
Midlothian OL Nelson McGuire: Midlothian (5-1) defeated Cleburne 28-9. The Panthers had 351 total yards of offense, 149 passing and 202 rushing.
Forney LB Kelvion Riggins: Forney (3-3) overcame an early deficit to beat Royse City 59-27. Riggins had 15 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and one quarterback rush that resulted in an interception.
Season stats: 52 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 9 hurries.
Legacy Science OL Joshua Moses: Legacy Science (3-3) received a bye last week.
Mesquite Horn S Markel Ford: Mesquite Horn (1-4) received a bye last week.
North Forney CB Ryan Gilbert: North Forney (4-2) defeated Tyler Legacy 39-7. Gilbert made three tackles in the win.
