Austin, Texas – If you’re craving a culinary adventure that the Far East meets Deep South, then you’re nothing but Lolo, a local hotspot that makes waves with a unique blend of Texas barbecue and Asian flavours.
General Manager Katie Tulik shared the story behind Rollo, highlighting the innovative menu and offering a delightful blend of flavours.
“We are a traditional Texas BBQ technique with Asian flavours. We want to do a lot of smoked meat. We find it on the menu. We find many different vegetables. We also want to cater to vegetarians.
The Lolo menu is a treasure trove of delicious dishes, and for those who want to combine meals with refreshing drinks, the restaurant serves Best Day Brewing Kolsch. This non-alcoholic beer is called “a light, crispy, easy drink with lovely toast malt characters and light hopping.”
At We Are Austin Kitchen, Tulik offered Rolo’s smoked beef brisket a delicious side of chiligastrick and Thai herbs, plus habanero aioli and crunchy sweet corn fritters.
Zurick also shared personal favourites from the menu, including oaks smoked butcher cuts and sesame noodles. For those who want to visit, Lolo is conveniently located in Austin, Dallas and Houston. With two locations in each city, you are ready to welcome guests with open arms and appetizing flavors.
