FORT WORTH – Texas men’s tennis senior No. 46 Pierre-Yves Bailly will compete in both singles and doubles with partner Sebastien Gosney in doubles at the ITA Central Regional Championships in Fort Worth on Thursday.
Bailly and Gosney will play Duncan Chan and Kai Kleins (TCU) at 9:30 a.m. CT, then Bailly will return to singles against Bjorn Swenson (Michigan) at 1 p.m. CT. Live video of the event can be viewed on Playsight, and tournament draws and results can be viewed here.
This event is an opportunity for players to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships. A total of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams will take part in the field. From this tournament, six singles teams (semifinalists, two quarterfinal playoff winners) and three doubles teams (finalists, third place) will advance to the NCAA Championships.
The Central section includes the ITA Central, Midwest, and Texas regions.
