Perry was last seen in Southlake, Texas, on Christmas Day 2023. The father of three was there to see his kids before returning to his home in Austin, but Rachel McCauley said he didn’t let them know he’d returned home safely that evening.
“Then a few weeks went by and I started reaching out to his father, his brother, some friends that he knew, but no one had heard from or seen him,” Rachel told FOX7 Austin’s Angela Shen in July.
“After a month or two of not doing anything, I started to suspect something was wrong,” Rachel added. “He’d never missed a big event. My oldest son plays football and he always went to football events. But he started missing sporting events and all kinds of events. I started to realise something was wrong.”
A police report was filed with the Southlake Police Department, which confirmed to FOX 7 Austin in July that Perry’s disappearance was under investigation.
