The prestigious Forbes Travel Guide, a global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises, recognizes 28 Texas properties in its 2025 award list.
The 67th Annual List covers approximately 2,200 properties worldwide with ratings of 3 levels: 5-star, 4-star and recommended. To determine the evaluation, the inspector will visit all hotels, restaurants, spas and cruise ships in person and anonymously as a typical guest to determine the quality and condition of each property and its overall guest experience. I’ll check. Participants pay a fee to be considered, but no one can purchase the rating.

New in 2025, Forbes Travel Guide announced its first cruise restaurant review.

The 2025 list has many recurring winners since 2024.
This year, only three Texas stars won five stars. This luxurious spa is at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas Hotel, the Post Oak Hotel in Houston and the Post Oak. The only new Texas property in this year’s Guide is the Las Carlton Dallas and Las Colinas Hotel in Irving, which has earned a recommended rating.
