Ranked second, the LSU Tigers return to Dishfarkfield on Sunday afternoon in a decisive game three matchup against the Texas Longhorns.
After splitting the first two games of the series, both programs will focus on the series’ victory on Sunday at Lone Star State.
“I just won the team in 17 games in a row and said it was really difficult in baseball, so I said I’m proud of them,” LSU manager Jay Johnson said. “The disappointment from tonight’s losses cannot reduce that achievement.
“Now we have to respond quickly. There will be a short turnaround for Sunday’s game and we will have to reset and get ready.”
