Texas was coming off a win against a top 10 team in Week 2, beating Michigan 31-12 in Ann Arbor.
Texas came out strong and dominated the game from the start. The Longhorns scored three touchdowns in the first half and kept the Wolverines out of the end zone. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers had a dominant performance, completing 18 of 26 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. The Longhorns’ 24 first-half points matched their most points scored in an entire game against Michigan last season.
