According to the GoFundMe page set up for Brewmaster, he currently has a breathing tube for support.
FORT WORTH, Texas – The brewing master of Fort Worth’s popular Martin House Brewing Company is in the hospital after a traumatic fall, the business announced Monday.
John “Beef” Rafman, brewing master at the popular Fort Worth Brewery, suffered from a fractured skull and a serious cerebral hemorrhage after falling in the fall on Friday, March 28th. On this page, Rahman is currently unconscious and is in the breathing tube of the intensive care unit, but is making progress every day.
“As he continues to fight through these difficult times, John will need ongoing medical care, rehabilitation and daily expenses assistance,” the page reads. “We reach out to your support to help him cover his medical expenses and daily needs while he focuses on healing.”
In response to this call to action, the North Texas community has donated over $28,000 in just two days to support Rahman, known for creating unconventional Martin House beers, including hot dog water, mustard beer, spaghetti, syrup and elf-themed beer brewed with M&M&MS.
Martin House Brewing Co. shared how much Houdman meant to them while sharing GoFundMe on social media.
“Beef writes our recipes and creates all the beers you love,” the brewery shared. “But it’s secondary to his actual role at our best friend, Martin House, the life of the party, the guy who always makes you smile, and he looks forward to working every day.”
