Nvidia will work with manufacturing partners to design and build the factory, and for the first time together with the leading manufacturing partners, the company has commissioned more than a million square feet of manufacturing space to build and test NVIDIA Blackwell Chips in Arizona and AI Supercomputers in Texas.
Nvidia Blackwell Chips has begun production at TSMC’s chip plant in Phoenix, Arizona. Nvidia has built a supercomputer manufacturing plant in Texas, with Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas. Mass production in both plants is expected to increase over the next 12-15 months.
The supply chain of AI chips and supercomputers is complex and requires the most advanced manufacturing, packaging, assembly and testing techniques. Nvidia is partnering with Amkor and Spil for packaging and testing operations in Arizona.

In the next four years, NVIDIA plans to produce up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the US through partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and Spil. The NVIDIA AI Supercomputer is a new type of data center engine created for the sole purpose of handling artificial intelligence. This is an AI factory, an infrastructure powered by the new AI industry. Dozens of “Gigawatt AI factories” are expected to be built in the coming years.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “The addition of American manufacturing will meet the incredible demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthen our supply chain and increase our resilience.”
Using advanced AI, robotics and digital twin technologies, the company designs and operates facilities including Nvidia Omniverse to create the factory’s digital twin and NVIDIA ISAAC GR00T to build robots that automate manufacturing.
