Whether you’re looking for that last OU Texas item or just want to spend the day browsing the shops, Dallas has a variety of shopping centers and boutiques.
Genesis Benefits Recycle Store
While visiting Dallas over the weekend, visitors can stop by the Genesis Benefit Thrift Store. About a 15-minute drive from downtown Dallas, the Genesis Benefit Thrift Store offers a variety of clothing while supporting a cause. All proceeds from the thrift store support the Dallas Women’s Shelter.
The Genesis Benefit Thrift Store is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 3419 Knight St.
west village
West Village, which opened in 2001, was designed as a walkable shopping mall in the heart of Dallas. Spread over 275,000 square feet, West Village is home to over 100 different shops, restaurants, and the Violet Crown Cinema. With its dynamic neighborhoods and communities, the West Village is known as the “Downtown of Uptown.”
West Village is located at 3699 McKinney Ave. and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Galleria Dallas
Known for its giant ice skating rink, Galleria Dallas offers a variety of shops and activities for the whole family. From Friday through Sunday, the Galleria Dallas will host a festival celebrating the Red River Showdown, including Red River Singoff by the OU Men’s Glee Club and UT Longhorn Singers, and sales at various stores.
Galleria Dallas is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at 13350 Dallas Pkwy.
The Shops at Park Lane
The Shops at Park Lane offers shoppers over 500,000 square feet of renowned retail, with 40 diverse stores and a variety of restaurants. The Shops at Park Lane also supports many local artists, displaying their artwork throughout the mall for shoppers to take photos in front of.
The Shops at Park Lane is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 8080 Park Ln.
northpark center
NorthPark Center is home to 200 retailers, boutiques, big brands, restaurants and movie theaters. Museum-quality art can be found throughout the mall. NorthPark Center will host its annual Pumpkin Patch starting Oct. 11, just in time for the weekend.
NorthPark Center is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at 8687 N Central Highway.
