Texas Longhorns Shayhall chats with politicians
Shay Holle spoke with politicians ahead of the Texas Longhorns elite August madness game with TCU.
Texas Women’s Basketball beat TCU 58-47 on Monday to move to its first NCAA Tournament Final 4 since 2003.
The Longhorns dodged the horned frog and finally succumbed after pulling their lead to single digits later in the fourth quarter. Texas’ Madison Booker and Lori Harmon led the team in scoring with 18 and 13 points respectively.
Texas have reached the Elite Elite eighth round of the NCAA Tournament in three of the last four seasons, but South Carolina (2021), Stanford (2022) and North Carolina (2024) all have prevented Longhorn from securing the final four berths. Now they are aiming to create a national championship for the first time since 1986.
To get there, Texas will be playing South Carolina for the fourth time this season. The team split the regular season matchup before the Gamecocks defeated Longhorns in the final of the Southeastern Conference Tournament.
