Congratulations to Sealy’s Kane Killough and Lone Star’s Easton Pulliam for being named the Texas Offensive High School Football Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 28 and 30, respectively. Masu.
Killough, a junior quarterback, scored seven total touchdowns in a 56-21 win over Gatesville. The junior threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 126 yards and three scores.
Pulliam, a senior linebacker, had 17 total tackles (two for loss) in a 39-35 win over Midlothian.
Killough received 58.52% of the vote, ahead of Celina’s Logan Gutierrez, who finished with 21.59%.
The aggressive poll yielded about 20,000 votes.
Pulliam received 55% of the vote, beating Holliday’s Vaughn Hamill, who received 32.29% of the vote.
The poll on defense received about 28,000 votes.

Sealy’s season ended Friday with a 48-30 loss to La Vega. Mr. Killough received 58.52% of the vote.
Gutierrez ran for 238 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 63-49 win over Aubrey. Mr. Gutierrez received 21.59% of the vote.
White ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in a 31-21 win over Fort Bend Marshall. Mr. White received 17.79% of the vote.
Jones completed 22 of 30 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns as Holiday defeated Toler 46-20. Mr. Jones received 1.51% of the vote.
Lenda completed 20 of 28 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 103 yards and three scores in a 42-37 win over Hebron. Renda’s vote percentage was 0.07%.

Lone Star lost to Highland Park 41-28 on Friday in the Class 5A Division I playoffs. Mr. Pulliam received 55 percent of the vote.
Hamill totaled seven tackles and three sacks in the 46-20 win over Toller. Hamill received 32.29% of the vote.
Hayes had 2.5 sacks in the 42-37 win over Hebron. Mr. Hayes received 10.27% of the vote.
Carter, a North Dakota State product, had a pick-six for 104 yards as South Oak Cliff dominated Marshall 35-7. The senior also recorded four total tackles. Mr. Carter received 1.39% of the vote.
Belcher totaled 10 tackles and one interception in the 52-40 loss to Collinsville. Mr. Belcher received 0.73% of the vote.
