Stewart had 31 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss as a junior for the Aggies. He missed out on the top 100 prospects on Bleacher Report’s 2025 Big Board, but was ranked No. 33 overall by ESPN.com.
Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus named Stewart the fourth-best edge defender in 2025, praising his “top-level explosiveness” and his “imposing” 6′ He listed a 6-inch, 290-pound frame.
Stewart’s work doesn’t just jump off the page. He had 65 tackles and 4.5 sacks in three years at A&M. By comparison, teammate Nick Skorton had 10 sacks as a sophomore at Purdue in 2023 and five more in his first year with the Aggies.
Still, ESPN’s Field Yates said Stewart “has very impressive traits that scouts feel could develop into a high-level rusher in the NFL.” Pre-draft showcases like the NFL Scouting Combine and Texas A&M’s pro day are opportunities for the Miami native to really shine.
However, there will be stiff competition for Stewart’s position. Tennessee’s James Pierce Jr. is No. 6 overall on B/R’s big board, with Skorton coming in at No. 16. Penn State’s Abdul Carter (No. 24), Georgia’s Mikel Williams (No. 27) and Ohio State’s JT Tuimoloau (No. 38) are all in the first-round conversation as well.
