Columbia, S.C. – Freshman Guard Tre Johnson registered a game high 29 points, but Texas (16-11, 5-9 seconds) was in South Carolina (11-16, 1 -13 seconds) 84-69 decision was deleted. This marked only the third meeting between the two schools and the first since the 1981-82 season.

Texas will return to action when they move to face Arkansas on Wednesday, February 26th. The tip will be set at 8pm CT at Bud Walton Arena, and the game will be aired nationwide by ESPN2.
