After Quinn Ewers sets off for the NFL, Steve Sarkisian will take the helm of Arch Manning. It’s going to be a big season for the Texas Longhorns. The Texas Longhorns have high hopes for them as they have not been competing in the national championships in the past two years, even punching playoff tickets.
Coach Sark believes things will change as the 2025 season is ready.
While speaking Thursday on New Orleans Saints star Cam Jordan’s “Off the Edge” podcast, Sarkisian revealed about Manning’s hype and the impact on the Austin crowd.

According to Sark, Mannings has played a key role in panning cameras towards Texas, but Payton and Eli Manning have not been personally involved or guarded the arch. He argues Manning’s second name has a huge responsibility, and so far the quarterback has never misused it. (Timestamp – 9:20)
“To this day, I have not spoken to Payton or Eli about the arch, which was about Cooper and Allen.
“For the next two years, we’re going to the college football playoffs. We’re in the semi-finals. We sent 25 guys to the NFL combine. We now have a really good soccer team. We’re very talented. I think some of them recruited three years ago. The soccer team.”
“This is the ultimate team sport. It’s not a single guy, but you could always have a quarterback. If you don’t have it, it’s really hard. I don’t care if it’s you’re in the NFL or if you’re in the NFL.
Archmanning has lots of expectations on the shoulder

Heading into the 2025 season, Archmanning will have to fill the Quinn Awors shoes in Texas, given the Longhorns are about to surpass their recent performance in the college football playoffs.
During the 2025 season, Texas fans settled on less than the national championship, and Manning will introduce his worth as the first QB. The 19-year-old is more athletic and agile than Ewers, marking a new era of Longhorns offensive games.
Fans got a glimpse into his skill set in the 2024 season, where he registered 939 passing yards, scored nine touchdowns and threw two intercepts.
