One of our region’s most heartwarming traditions is back again this year, giving the public the opportunity to become philanthropists for a day through the annual North Texas Giving Day.
This year, the annual fundraising initiative, which began Sunday, will be held online and continue through the official Day of Giving on Sept. 19. Since its inception in 2009, North Texas Day of Giving has provided a platform for local nonprofits to thrive, make their voices heard and garner support from the community.
For 16 years, this ongoing event has empowered hundreds of organizations to expand their reach, deepen their impact, and improve the quality of lives of countless people. As this year’s Day of Giving approaches, it’s important to remember that every donation, regardless of its size, has the power to make a big difference.
In our area of North Texas, especially Hunt County and the surrounding areas, many dedicated nonprofits and community organizations are participating in this year’s North Texas Giving Day.
These organizations work tirelessly to address immediate needs, empower vulnerable groups, and enrich the cultural and educational environments of their communities. Find out more about how you can help.
