After news that Maryland head coach Kevin Willard will take over Villanova after three seasons, Texas A&M head coach Buzz Williams’ future is currently in the air. This will bring Williams’ name to the top of Terrapin’s coaching search. However, this is all heardsay until an official announcement is made.
For those who believe Williams will not go anywhere, that’s still a high possibility after it’s revealed that Williams and his staff are currently hosting Northern Colorado Transfer Guard Langston Reynolds. Reynolds averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 34 games last season. For those unnoticed, former Tennessee standout Dalton Knecht also developed and starred in northern Colorado before his transfer.
After three seasons with the Bears, Reynolds became elite, shooting nearly 60% from the field, including 66% on the rim and 40% from the 3-point range. Standing at 6’4″ Reynolds is also an efficient rebounder.
With Wade Taylor IV leaving the program after four record-breaking seasons, the Aggies desperately need star power, and Langston Reynolds fits the bill. For players looking to take the next step in his college career, Texas A&M’s young athletic roster has a surprising opportunity next season if players like Reynolds choose Aggies.
