During ESPN’s “College Game Day” in College Station, Texas, sportswriter Jess Sims brought Aggie superfans Kyle and Erica on stage to talk about the big game and their love for Texas A&M. .
Sims asked Erica why Texas A&M is so special to her and her family.

“My mom has worked here all her life. Oh my gosh, this is crazy, um, I got two degrees here and I work here. My daughter will be in the class of 2042. This is the perfect place,” Erica said.
Sims then turned to Kyle and talked about the game.
“Okay, Kyle, big, big, game tonight. What do you think about the big rivalry, playing Texas tonight?”
Kyle then used Sims’ questions as a transition to his own questions.

“Erica, will you marry me?” Kyle asked, pulling a ring from his pocket and getting down on one knee.
As confetti flew, the Texas A&M crowd roared in support of the proposal, and the newly engaged couple embraced, Erica was surprised to say yes.

Nick Saban also gave the couple some advice about marriage.
