Texas has brought an overwhelming victory to students, families and American principles of self-determination.
Lisa B. Nelson, CEO Alec, highlighted the recent passing of Texas Senate Bill 2, and was introduced by Daily Caller Marian Angela, each of which, created the nation’s largest Universal Education Savings Account (ESA) program, allowing taxpayer funds to support private schools and home keying. The bill shows a significant increase in parental control in education, adopting a universal ESA in Texas for the 16th state.

Governor Abbott and the Texas Legislature have shown incredible courage to lead this accusation.

“SB 2 marks Texas as the 16th state and the 16th state to implement a universal ESA. This is part of an interstate growth movement to expand parental control over education. Model policies like the Hope Scholarship provided a framework for educational freedom reforms like SB 2,” Nelson said. “It marks the end of an all-purpose age in American education.”
