Police in Texas are pursuing Ernest Christopher Nathan on a murder charge. Here’s what we know about him and the crimes he committed in Texas and other states.
Ernest Christopher Nathan and his crimes
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Nathan was first detained in Georgia, not Texas, after he was arrested in 2006 on charges of drug possession and control and aggravated assault, for which he received a total of three years in prison.
Ten years later, Nathan was arrested again on two charges: in Georgia, he was convicted of assault and bail jumping, according to Texas police. He served a year in prison for those offenses.
Nathan’s crimes in Texas and what you can do to find him
In 2022, Houston Police arrested Nathan on charges of evading arrest and custody by vehicle and murder. He was taken into custody on October 4th and released on bail the next day. Two years later, on February 29th, 2024, a warrant was issued for Nathan for failure to appear in court on the aforementioned murder charge.
