On the Texas side, they went 6-0 from the start with wins over Colorado State, Michigan, UTSA, Los Angeles-Monroe, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma State. The Longhorns suffered their first loss, 30-15, to a tough Georgia team, but defeated Vanderbilt the following weekend.

Texas vs Florida Prediction
I might try Florida here. The Gators put up a valiant effort in the first half against a great Georgia team over the weekend, but ultimately fell short. Florida gained 228 yards (113 passing) in the loss and had several turnovers, but was just 3-of-16 on third downs. It was a huge failure after scoring 48 points against Kentucky.
As for Texas, they had some extra time to rest and prepare after a close win against Vanderbilt. The Longhorns won 14-6 in the second half of that matchup, accumulating 10 penalties for 107 yards. Texas should clean things up and look better here, but I think the Gators can get into coverage if all goes well.
