Austin – Former Texas Longhorns defensive lineman Tacon Graham is set to stay with the Atlanta Falcons for at least a year.
According to a Wednesday report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Falcons is “expected” to re-sign Graham to a one-year contract.

It’s unclear what the future will be like beyond Graham’s 2025 season, but as he heads into his fifth year with the franchise, it’s clear he found a home with Atlanta. The Falcons originally selected him in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft after spending four years in Texas.
Graham was a teammate of Falcon Star, who ran Falcon Star for a season in Texas in 2020. Robinson reunited with Graham and the pair will be in their third season as NFL teammates when Atlanta chose eighth overall in the 2023 draft.
Last season, Graham played in 10 games, talliing a total of 12 tackles. He missed the last seven games of the year after suffering a chest injury. It was a statistically much more productive season of his career. In four seasons, he started 16 of 49 games, posting a total of 84 tackles (35 solos), one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
During his stay in Texas, Graham played in 48 games, totaling 72 tackles (41 solos), 23 tackles, seven sacks, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and one pass break. He had the bag against Joe Burrow in a 45-38 victory over Texas at No. 6 LSU during the 2019 campaign. He concluded the season with a back-to-back game with sacks and finished the year with victory at Texas Tech and Utah (Alamo Bowl).
