Chris Pine is set to appear anywhere, a crime thriller by Noah Holy, creator of Fargo and Legion. Pine has been in the Hollywood industry for over 20 years and has played the most prominent roles in the Star Trek franchise, Princess Diaries and Wonder Woman. However, his most acclaimed film was Taylor Sheridan’s Hell or High Water. Now, it appears that Pine will revisit the genre under rising filmmakers.

Holy, known for her work in Fargo and Legion, is produced and written by 26 Keys Productions and is direct. The film is produced by 26 Keys Productions, a film and television company based in Austin, Holy. It is funded by 30West, who previously worked with Pine at the Contractor (2022). 30West will jointly report on US distribution rights along with CAA Media Finance, along with international rights processed by AGC International.
What does this mean for Pine’s career?
Pine & Hawley’s first collaboration is nowhere
Pine’s role everywhere continues his quest for a fierce, action-driven story. Following his outstanding performances in Hell or High Water, the Star Trek actors have built a reputation for playing morally conflicting characters. It doesn’t quickly strengthen it, but like his previous successes in films like the Contractor, All Old Knife (2022), Outlaw King (2018), it has a complex role that blends tension and action. It offers him another opportunity to take on it. This also marks his latest project, following the honor of Poolman, Wish, Dungeons & Dragons: Thieves.

Pine re-enters the crime thriller genre
Pine focuses on rough, action-driven stories, and is evident in his everywhere-fast casting, and he is suited to this role given the background to the genre. Working with Holy in the first feature collaboration will bring new dynamics to both parties in the project. It’s still early development, but there’s nowhere to fast to become a solid addition to Pine’s career and crime thriller genre.
