After a season in which he played just three games, Mississippi State receiver Mario Klaver is reportedly preparing a short list of transfer targets.
It was announced on Friday that Klaver will be slotted between the Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida State Seminoles, with the 5-foot-10, 170-pound freshman potentially joining the SEC in August. expensive.
Craver has three years of eligibility remaining and has 17 catches for 368 yards and three touchdowns this season, the second-most yards per game by a Bulldog receiver.
“(Klaver) will take a year to add size, but has the ability to develop sooner rather than later in the right offensive system,” the receiver’s scouting report said before enrolling at Mississippi State. Ta. Four-star prospect. “(He) brings great athleticism from the slot at the receiver position.”
That was evident in his first year as well, but after missing four games due to an undisclosed injury and team suspension, Klaver never made the kind of waves the Bulldogs probably expected. He is currently working on a new program aimed at improving his production.
And with several names already departing, the Aggies could certainly benefit from his presence.
