SAN ANTONIO – History teachers in the Northside independent school district are taking administrative leave in connection with a tea investigation of teachers’ accreditation fraud scheme, district officials confirmed with the KSAT investigation Monday.
Allyn Eduard is the second teacher in the district linked to the scandal.
According to the district, he was hired as a history teacher at Tuft High School in August 2024.
Edouard previously worked at Del Valle Independent School District in Travis County, Tea Records shows.
NISD said he was placed on administrative leave on February 7th on the same day he took administrative leave for John Jay High School’s special education teacher and Colin Teirolon.
Taylor has been a John Jay High School teacher since 2022. He previously worked as an alternative teacher at the school in 2021, the district said.

Tea notified Northside ISD of its February 5th investigation.
KSAT was the first area media outlet to report San Antonio’s connection to a statewide scandal.
In October 2024, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg announced the indictment of five people accused of participating in the fraud scheme, according to KPRC, KSAT’s sister station in Houston.
Earlier this month, KSAT obtained a list of names of 60 new name teachers under investigation by tea. Most of the teachers work in the Houston area.
According to the DA’s office, it is reportedly over $1 million, which is said to be worth more than $1 million.
The DA’s office estimated that the ring’s Kingpin had earned more than $1 million from the scheme.
According to court documents, an estimated 430 tests have been fraudulent, and more than 210 unqualified teachers have been certified under the scheme, and are currently being practiced or practiced in Texas public schools and state districts.
