The Texas Space Commission strengthens Texas’ proven track record in civil, commercial, and aerospace activities by fostering innovation in the areas of space exploration and commercial aerospace opportunities, including the integration of space, aviation, and the aviation industry into the Texas economy. We are working to strengthen our leadership. The Commission is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors, which also administers the Space Exploration and Aeronautics Research Fund, which was legislatively created to provide grants to eligible organizations.
