TEXAS, USA — As the new year dawns, authorities in Texas continue to search for fugitives who remain on the state’s Most Wanted list, including two with known last known addresses in the Permian Basin. This includes fugitives. Both are considered armed and dangerous.
Convicted sex offender Salomon Olivas Marquez remains at large.
In 2002, Marquez was convicted of assaulting a six-year-old girl and sentenced to five years in prison. He later served additional time in prison for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
The Ector County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest in March 2022 for further failure to comply with registration requirements. His last known address was in Odessa, Texas.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) records, Marquez is 61 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 195 pounds.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Antonio Martinez Gonzalez is wanted for parole violation on original charges of assault impeding breathing or circulation and possession of a controlled substance.

His criminal history is extensive, with convictions for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, injury to a child, evading arrest, assault on a public servant, and robbery.
DPS says Gonzalez has known ties to the West Texas Tango gang, as well as ties to Midland, Texas, and Mexico.
