After a three-game winning streak to end the regular season, Michigan has won all four postseason games so far. In each of the previous five NCAA tournament appearances, Wolverine advanced to Sweet 16.
Texas A&M has participated in the third consecutive NCAA tournament. This was last achieved when the program appeared in six straight tournaments in 2006-11. The Aggies have not made the Sweet 16 since 2018, when Michigan finished the season.
