AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women’s basketball team will participate in the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas in November 2025, The Players Era announced Monday.
The event includes a round robin tournament between Texas, South Carolina, UCLA and Duke during Thanksgiving week at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The Women’s Championship will be held over three days during Thanksgiving week in Las Vegas and will coincide with next year’s Players Era Men’s Championship. The round-robin format guarantees three key matchups for each team, with the overall champion determined by head-to-head record, followed by a series of tie-breaks that include point spread, points, and scores.
Points are acceptable. Publicis Sports, the US sports agency within Publicis Media, will support EverWonder and Players Era Women’s Championship media partners with tournament advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
This event will give each team’s athletes the opportunity to participate in at least $1 million in NIL activities for Players Era and its sponsors outside of competition.
